The lunar month of Hajj - Dhul Hijjah began on October 6th 2013 and many American Muslims are making their way to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj which is something all adult Muslims should do once in a lifetime if they are able. For many who do not perform the Hajj it is an intensely spiritual time of prayer and remembrance. The first 10 days of Hajj are the most special and many who are not on the pilgrimage will fast at this time. The festival Eid Al Adha will be on October 15th 2013. We wish all "Eid Mubarak" - have a Happy Celebration!
